Here is my request list for the next release:

1) Avisynth support but i think it's already planned
2) FPS counter (how many frames are being encoded by sec etc..)
3) Fix the problem with the overlay rendering the which i don't like at all because while i encode i use another software to play movies and i use the Overlay (as it's the best ) THUS if i open Video Enhancer before opening  my player i need to change to VM9 or 7.
I think you should set VE to VM9 by default  (if possible) and keep the overlay as an option or something.
4) Put an option to disable the Preview before/after, it would save some precious time.
5) Last but not least:  Add the possibly to save the video as an image sequence (.bmp, png, jpeg etc..)

Well that's  about it (for now)

Very nice list, thank you very much!
Together with YUV support sounds like a good feature list for version 2.0, which release is planned for July.
Stay tuned!

just got a new request

Add the possibility to just DRAG & DROP a file to the input because i'm tired of "browsing" to get a file it's just too long sometimes drag & drop would really accelerate things and i'm sure it's not hard to implement in the source code

Got a new one!

Add the possibility to choose a segment / part of the video.
Sometimes i just wanna upsize a specific portion of a video, cuting this part with another software cost time and Mb (sometimes GB) on the hard drive.
I think it's easily implementable for avi/mpegs, not sure about exotic codecs (flv, wmv, mov etc..)

Thank you

Sorry, it's been delayed.

This summer we developed a fast version of super resolution working in YV12 colorspace. It can handle youtube-like resolution video in realtime. Soon VE 1.9.4 shall be released with this fast SR as one of the modes and a few minor improvements. Later version 2.0 should come out with completely revised user interface with online preview, automatic filters management (select, download, install, use) and probably stable support for different video formats independenly of the codecs installed in the system.

As for AviSynth support, VE opens avs files and processes them successfully. What kind of support are you missing?

Well that's exactly what i needed: YV12 support.
So you're saying the current version (what's the number again..v1.93?) support yv12 color space ?

The next release will support it - new SR engine is not yet used in VE.
