most of the time, when i try to convert flv files the outputs have time differences between audio and video.i tried manytimes to convert flv files with different codecs in ve but failed.to my surprise when i converted the same files with other converters in formats other than flv and again processed in ve the out put came with accuracy.there might be the flv splitter froblem.i have tried this process using different computers.all the computers have shown the same result.HOW CAN THIS PROBLEM BE SOLVED? plz tell me if any configuration can solve it.

Can you upload a problematic flv file to rapidshare or similar site?
Then we could see the problem and find a solution.

Thanks! Now I see the problem: Video Enhancer writes thinks the video is 25 frames per second when it is really 30. This is why the video becomes slower than sound. I need some more time to investigate why this happens and fix it.

The problem is that decoder (ffdshow in my case, I guess in yours also) sets each frame duration to a very small value when it really should be 1/30 of a second. And one of these files also have a missing frame in the beginning. Together it makes difficult to decide proper FPS, but I'll try to fix it and publish an update soon.

No, these two are enough for now. The problem seems to be clear, unlike the solution..
By the way, at the moment you can fix the framerate by loading your avi files into VirtualDub, selecting directstream copy for video and audio (so no recompression will be made at all) and choosing proper framerate for video (30 fps).

Yes, indeed!

You can take this file:
http://stuff.thedeemon.com/aviwr.ax
and put it into Video Enhancer folder overwriting the old one.

Now your examples work fine for me, and after some more testing it will be included in the next version of Video Enhancer, probably tomorrow.

Had to completely change the way it deals with framerate. Earlier it relied on information from decoder, but in the case you've shown the decoder provided completely wrong framerate and durations, so now Video Enhancer analyses first second of the video stream and calculates the framerate based on observations.
